My ipod went crazy again, and following the advice in this thread, I booted up computer up in Knoppix, a linux OS, to be able to reformat the ipod's drive. Which was fine, but now I can't reboot in Windows. I keep getting messages that there is no drive to boot from, and the computer refuses to do anything except except beep and replay the message until I put the Knoppix CD back in.

Help meeeeeeeeeeeee. I was up until 6am last night (this morning?) trying to figure this out, and I've spent all day working on it today too. I'm about to go crazy. I don't want to use Linux, I want Windows. Even if I could get used to the program, I don't know where any of my files are. What can I do?

Check your settings and make sure your computer's not trying to finds its OS on the disc drive still.

Nah, I tried that; didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Is there a tech support line you could call for your iPod? I know I've called Motorola a bunch of times to fix problems with my mp3 player. :P

Most of the tech support for the ipod is on Apple's website (which is where I got the suggestion that started this whole thing) or by taking it in the local store, which I'm reluctant to do, since it's way on the other side of the city and I don't want to have to pay, since I'm not sure if my warrenty is still valid.

But, really, the bigger problem right now is getting my computer to work again.
