The inconviences of modern life
Nov. 12th, 2005 09:36 pmMy dilemma of the moment:
Someone left me a voicemail, inviting me to go to the mall with them tomorrow. Do I want to go to the mall? Hell, yes.
The problem here is that I have no idea who the person is. I assume it's not a wrong number, because they addressed me by name, and the voice is ringing faint recognition bells in the back of my mind, but I cannot place it. I have absolutely no idea of who it could be. And I'm too embarrassed to call back and ask, because given that they signed off with "Love ya!", I'm thinking it's someone I should know.
My plan at the moment is either to wait and see if they call again, or to return the call and pretend I know who I'm talking to while hoping to find a clue.
