While I was searching for a Saiyuki fic a few days ago, I ran across a ton of other fics I'd never seen before. Most of these are relatively old, so a lot of you might have seen them before, but in case, like me, you hadn't, here's a list of the best ones I ran across.

A Dick the Size of China by [livejournal.com profile] littledrop. Gojyo/Sanzo, NC-17. This is the one I was looking for, finally pointed out to me by [livejournal.com profile] wildelamassu (thanks!). Mmmm, angry!sex, yes. I don't even care that the plot makes no sense; it's not supposed to.

The Tragedy of Sanlet, Prince of Denmark by [livejournal.com profile] andmydog. Parody/crossover, PG-13. I have a special place in my heart for Saiyuki humor, and this is perfect.
Goku: What is it with you and incest?
Cho: ...
Goku: I think Sanlet likes you.
Cho: Do you really?
Goku: You can't have him.
Cho: The thought never crossed my mind.

Custard Creams and Other Dreams by [livejournal.com profile] bravecows. G, Tenpou + Aziraphale. Tenpou + Aziraphale. Plus other crossovers. Oh my god. This is so good.

Goldilocks and the Three Youkai by [livejournal.com profile] lebateleur. G. Continuing with the humor (which, seriously, I have no idea why I love so very much, but I really, really do; I adore a well-written humor fic more than anything else in this fandom, so go ahead and rec me), there's this wonderful little piece, which manages to be tremendously cute as well as funny.

Ochite yuku by [livejournal.com profile] lebateleur. Zenon, R. You really should read all of [livejournal.com profile] lebateleur's stuff; every one is excellent. I picked this one to rec because it gives Zenon a backstory and makes me care, when usually I can't even be bothered to roll my eyes at all of Homura's gang.

this is not a freaking love story by [livejournal.com profile] hydr0phobia. Goku/Kougaiji, PG. No, really. No, really. And the thing is, it works.

The Right Way Out by [livejournal.com profile] hydr0phobia. Gojyo/Sanzo, PG. You should also read all of [livejournal.com profile] hydr0phobia's stuff, because I say so, and because it's good, and because I adore the style she writes in. This one is lovely, all hopeful and shiny.
And Gojyo has this way about him where he could kick himself down, just like that—boot aside anything and everything that proved he was anything but nothing.
And Sanzo has this way about him where he would kick Gojyo back up, fast and hard and sudden and enough to make Gojyo a little pissed.

Teeth by [livejournal.com profile] newkate. Ni/Gojyo, Gojyo/Hakkai, NC-17. And then we have the creepy, horrible, nightmare-causing fic, because no list is complete without one. And this? This is freaky and awful and scary and just right.
"Hanyo, eh?” he murmured, “I always wanted one."

Koumyou and Kouryuu doujinshi. This link is not a fic, but it's my favorite of them all. Baby Sanzo is cute that it hurts. I love the one where he's teething. And the one where they read the comics. And- oh, just go look at them all.

Hee. But I think I figured out the problem with the fic we were talking about last night. I hadn't read the beginning myself, so I didn't notice any problems with it. I sw it recced somewhere else, and was just skimming, until later in the story when it started to catch my attention. Because you're right, it does have some issues at the start.
