brigdhFacebook.com is, if you weren't aware (and lucky you), a sort of Friendster/MySpace for college students. You get a space to post a picture, list your major, your favorite bands, and your interests. There's a message board for people to leave comments.
Like all people when they first hear about a fad, I dutifully set one up, and then promptly forgot about it. It's not nearly as interesting as livejournal, mainly because I can't constantly post to it with whatever random topic I have on my mind at the moment and expect people to respond.
But I am continually being friended on it by people from high school, most of whom I can't remember even with the aid of the photo. Most likely this means that I was so outrageously weird that I was unforgettable, even four years later, even by people who were not even in my class.
However, I am choosing to interpret it to mean that I was secretly popular and everyone harbored desires to be my friend, but was afraid that I would snub them. Rewriting history is fun.
