I'm about to leave for vacation: I'm going on a cruise (which I've never done before) to Mexico (where I've never been before). It's very exciting. The occasion is my great-uncle's (I think that's how I'm related to the guy; I'm fairly certain that I've never met him before) 80th birthday, and we are somehow included in the celebrations.

Feel free to send me emails/leave a comment if anything important happens. I fully expect you all to tell me if you write fic, make icons, start new communities, or do anything else at all interesting. *grins* I don't want to miss out just because I'm not here! So leave me links.

Otherwise, I'll be back on Monday, or possibly Tuesday. We are the most disorganized people on Earth, and I'm not really sure what all is planned.

*laughs* I ended up taking The Brothers Karamazov, an edited and revised version of The Travels of Marco Polo, and Candy (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0316563560/qid=1120688122/sr=8-10/ref=pd_bbs_ur_10/002-0955359-7843250?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) by Mian Mian, plus most of Saiyuki. And then I succumbed to temptation and bought Bangkok Tattoo (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1400040450/qid=1120688149/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_ur_1/002-0955359-7843250?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) in an airport.
