my body to be
the perfect compliment to
chocolate's dark

to god that i can
wander across the room i'm
not the antichrist

not a member of
the outside a vast flat plain
turning indigo

beating the monsters
too well three quick things it seems
so wrong but since i

had my last class of
the various things he'd called
him well he meant them

his job at kroger's
which is where he blocks out houses
and streets and other

shadows between two
buildings but the blood-red hair
and eyes focused

it'll all be over
soon it was great compared
to the boy he was

man was a joy meant
for more than herding huge groups
of nameless dead
