Drabbles, yay!
Feb. 12th, 2005 01:17 pmThose That Will Not Break (Hisoka/Tsuzuki) and In the Details (Tsuzuki/Hisoka) for
stagesoflove's Romance challenge.
I've seen the topic going around of "what has fandom done for you? How has it improved your life?" It's popped up a few times on my flist, I've seen references to it elsewhere- you know, one of those things that everyone just seems to be talking about suddenly. I was thinking about it, and my answer is that, whatever else, fandom has made me incapable of ennui. Life cannot possibly be boring or uninteresting.
Because no matter what I'm doing (watching reruns of SNL at 3am, for instance), there's always something I should be doing instead (writing
yami_valentine, writing
stagesoflove, writing Clubsoka, really, just take your pick). And procrastination makes enjoyable even the dullest of things.
So thank you fandom, for being the challenge that never freakin' ends. Not that I would want you to. *grins*
