The meme where you describe ten of your friends anonymously. Ganked from everyone, but done because p_zeitgeist made it look so cool. And nyaa, now you have to worry about which one you are, because you're on this list.


1. We don't hang out as much as we used to, and I regret that. I really do. But I know what you'd have me do to change things, and I don't think it's fair to ask me that.

2. You'd never guess this, but you intimidate me. And I want to comment in your journal, because I always read it, but it's often so personal that I feel like I'd be intruding. So instead I don't say anything, and just hope you won't take me off your flist for excessive silence.

3. I feel like I've know you forever. Seriously, girl. And I love to see your posts, because you're usually so happy and cute, and reading them makes me wonder what it would have been like to have a little sister.

4. I've known you for a long time, too. And though there's been trouble sometimes (not really between us, but... well, it doesn't matter), I've always thought you were a great person, sweet and funny.

5. You did something for me once, and I don't even know how to say how much it meant to me. You probably barely remember it, but I would do anything for you, now.

6. I adore you. And not only because you're an awesome writer, but because you're a very cool person. I love it when you comment on things I've written, because I know I can always trust you not to say something just to be nice.

7. Though I barely know you, I like you. You have such neat things to say, and I really liked watching a smart and perceptive person get into fandom.

8. You impress me so much. You're intelligent and articulate and mature and thoughtful, and the fact that you have me friended and actually read(!) and comment(!!) terrifies me sometimes.

9. I haven't really talked to you in years, but every now and then you'll leave me a comment and it makes me unreasonable happy. It means so much to me that you'd still be reading my journal, after all this time.

10. I like you a lot. I'm not sure why, because I haven't known you for that long, but I'm sure that if we were real-life friends, I would follow you around and hang out at your place constantly. Or until you got annoyed and kicked me out.



Picking just ten was really hard, so don't feel bad if you're not on the list.

I have such a love/hate relationship with this meme. I get uber!paranoid over it, then do it myself, then worry that I've made all my friends uber!paranoid.... vicious cycle, I say.

Eheh... actually, I thought "I wonder if that's me?" As soon as I read "You'd never guess this, but you intimidate me." I've heard the same from other people before. I've never been able to sense it in myself, but enough people have come up with it for me to have to accept it as a working hypothesis. (But honestly, I don't bite, I solicit people to bite me).

I wouldn't have asked though, so thank you to childofatlantis for confirmation.

I wouldn't have taken you off for excessive silence, but I do periodically regard my flist and wonder how many of them have stopped reading in revulsion at the lurid personal entries and would welcome release. I won't worry about you, then.

When I started the lj I didn't know my life was going to become such a drama fest. It just sort of happened, and took the lj with it. There's even more lurid filters that you aren't on, if that makes you feel any better(!) So if a given person can see an entry, they are welcome to comment on it if they want to.

My ambition is to be boring again and make posts about Tatsumi's underpants and my nice stable life.

Well, you're not intimidating in a bad way. It's just that you're cool and intelligent and well-spoken, which makes me certain that I'd immediately make a fool out of myself or say something offensive

And it's not that I mind that you about your life- although of course I feel horrible that you have to live it. It's not as if an entry about personal drama is inherently worth less than one about fandom. Although there's nothing quite as interesting as Tatsumi's underpants. ;)
