Great choices. I have this crystal-clear memory of listening to "A Long December" at a very hard time in my life and just breaking down and crying...a lot of meaning for me in that song. I love Dar Williams.

Oh, thanks. *hugs back* It just brings back this interesting cluster of memories/thoughts-- how horrible some of those things were, and that I got through them, more or less unscathed.

She plays locally here once in a while, in Burlington.

Yeah. I've never seen her, I discovered her after I had a kid and we haven't been able to get out for many overnights; she just got past her clingy phase.
