Have you seen the original Japanese Ringu? I don't think I slept for a week.

I have! Though I saw the American remake first- and I caught the preview for the sequel to that last night, and cannot wait for it to come out- I think that the backstory just makes so much more sense in Ringu. It completely falls apart once you start to look at it in The Ring.

And now I'm desperate to see Ju-On, to see how it compares.
