Wah. I think I am sick. Or getting there. I got around 8 hours of sleep last night, took two naps today, and am still feeling fuzzy and exhausted. I can't even concentrate enough to write; trying to do so went like this:
Word: People fill all available space in the club.
Me: *stares blankly at screen*
Me: Does that sound right? That doesn't sound right. What tense is this in? Maybe it should be "All space is filled...". No, that's passive voice. Passive voice is bad. I think. Maybe I want passive voice! Do I? What the hell does 'passive voice' mean, anyways? It sounds funny. Passive Voice. Hee.
And you all only think I'm exaggerating. Let me just say that I spent an hour on it, and I ended up editing one paragraph. That's less than 200 words. My brain is goo, y'all.

tokie is thinking of doing a 101 to Make Love Without Doing It Challenge. I think it's a very cool idea. Go encourage her.
And in case you missed it,
edonohana posted a seasonal drabble in the comments of the Challenge Close at
fuda_100. Very nice.
Go help
rackhamrose with her
ship_manifesto essays. She's doing Tatsumi/Watari, Seishirou/Subaru and Dracula/Van Helsing.
And now I'm going to go read about DNA.

Date: 2004-09-28 11:37 am (UTC)I think you just want a stronger verb than "fill," like "crowd," "jam," "pack," "cram," etc.
Oh, wait, that wasn't the point, was it?
I hope you feel better.
