So, remember [livejournal.com profile] ship_manifesto? With all the cool essays about people's favorite ships and why they like them? And by the way, Smallville week just ended, and I know some of the people on my friends' list are in that fandom, so go look at all the pretty shiny essays.

Anyway, now there's a sister community! [livejournal.com profile] reflections_2 for indivual characters. No essays yet, but I fully encourage everyone to go and sign up for your favorites. C'mon! Who wants to write about Tsuzuki? Muraki? Watari? Go claim someone! Except for Hisoka, who you can't have, because he's mine, all mine, mwahahahahahahahaha!

*cough* I mean, um... Sign up! It's fun. There's also a non-anime community, [livejournal.com profile] idol_reflection. This one got started earlier, and the essays'll start going up before too long, but it's still not too late to claim someone.

Also, you should start watching [livejournal.com profile] yaoi_challenge, because starting on October 18th, there'll be a smut fic going up every day all the way until just before Christmas. It's like an early present!

On a different topic, LJ is not sending me some comments. So if you said something to me and I didn't respond, chances are good I just didn't get it. Feel free to poke me again.

I can't wait till I get my prompt! *dances madly* Oh, and I'm having the same problem with LJ. I think it's just one of those evil, "We do maintence all the time" things. :)

Oh, you signed up too? Cool! Of course, I won't get my prompt till like, December, but hey. At least it'll give me something to do on Christmas break. *grins*

And yeah. It's just so annoying when it happens. I hate to leave people thinking I'm ignoring them just because I didn't know they replied to me.

What's up with all these essay communities? Did someone slip a "Here Be Meta" pill into the water recently? o_o

... you know, you should get [livejournal.com profile] threewalls to write an essay on Tatsumi. *runs away before MC finds this* XD

Heh. Well, these three are all run by the same person, so that probably explains a lot of it. Besides, meta is fun! And there's so little of it in the YnM fandom.

And ooooo. She so should. *contemplates way to tempt her*

I signed up to do Tatsumi/Tsuzuki on [livejournal.com profile] ship_manifesto ^_~ I was surprised no-one else had stolen them already, in fact. And oh, now I'm so tempted to sign up for Tsuzuki or Watari.... ack... I have enough to do....

Yay! I'm glad you took them; I couldn't believe they hadn't been snatched up right away. But I can't wait to see your essay.

Sign up! Sign up! But hurry- someone's already taken Tsuzuki.

[livejournal.com profile] yaoi_challenge is going to be fun. (I'm not up until December, though. So I've got quite awhile to wait to start writing.)

That character essay thing is interesting, too. The closest I've ever come to that was a (serious) analysis of the Shinto significance of the Gensou Kai/Kamakura arcs and how they were connected, but we're not even going there.

(Me too. But I figure that way I'll be writing it over Winter break, which'll be nice.)

And ooooooh. *_* I would absolutely love to read that essay. Link me?
