I have just spent three hours cleaning spyware and popups off of this computer. One of the times I ran AdAware, it found OVER 1200 files.

*kills someone*

And now a fun link! How to Torture Your Sims, ganked from [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes

Thank you for that link! I am stunned with amusement and stealing it shamelessly. *Smooch*

*grins* Isn't it the best thing ever? It cracked me up, and I never even kill my Sims.

*smooch*

*dies laughing* the fact that ALL THE NEIGHBOURS end up trapped is just the most horrible yet amusing thing...

I need to play that game again, clearly.

Try installing SpywareBlaster? It *should* prevent future infections by spyware and adware.

I am amused by your choice of music. ^_~

I KNOW! I never knew you could kill off a whole neighborhood just by deleting the door. *plots*

Sims is the best. I always make characters, and then try and convince them to go into the pairings I like. Those it's pretty funny to give them free will and see what happens, too. Like the time when Muraki was groping an unhappy Tsuzuki and Hisoka came from clear across the house to slap him. *dies*

Ooo, thanks. That'll be way helpful.

And heh. I think I might have stolen it from you, actually. Wasn't this song on the YnM playlist you made?

OMG that is hysterical.

Yes, yes it is. *g*

And here's where you can download SpywareBlaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/), if you haven't googled it already. I haven't found a single spyware/adware since the last time I cleaned out my computer, which was ages ago, and I run both AdAware and Spybot.

Oh, thank you so much. This'll be so helpful. I've already had nearly disabling problems with this computer from spyware/adware three or four times this summer, and I was getting really sick of spending hours fixing things just so I could manage to check my email.
