Because that was totally a good use of my time.
Ever since I started paying for LJ, I've been trying to do a new layout for every season. Both because it's a nice theme and it makes me happy, and because it gives me the one-would-assume-easy-to-reach goal of four layouts a year. Unfortunately, it's hella late to claim this as my summer layout. Besides which, it's not particularly summery. Or fall-y. It strikes me more as winter than anything, but it's too early for that. *sighs* I suppose it's just a new layout with no cool theme. It does, however, have the most Tsuzuki song *ever*, and that makes me happy. Anyone wanting the mp3, feel free to IM me.
The first volume of the YnM manga shipped today. I called all over town and no one has received a copy of it yet. I weep.
I babysat today, and I have to share a conversation between my 5-year-old cousin Kelly and her 10-year-old neighbor, Rachel.
Kelly: When I grow up, I'm going to be a doctor and a hospital girl and a zoo girl...
Rachel: Aren't you going to be a mother?
K: Meh.
R: Don't you want to have babies?
K: It's too much work.
Me: ... *DIES*
