brigdhWhooooooooo! I finally found a copy of Gravitation 4!

Now, granted, I haven't actually had time to read it yet, but that's besides the point. I also bought Dance Dance Dance by Murakami Haruki, because it had a pretty cover. Have I mentioned yet that I should not be allowed money while I'm within range of a bookstore?
The point of the trip to the bookstore (and there was one, of course) was to pick up a copy of Betrayal by Harold Pintcher for my Comp Studies class. Which necessitated a trip over to the Barnes & Nobles, only to find out they didn't have it, and thus I had to go clear back to High to pick it up at SBX. (For people not from here: imagine leaving class, walking about a mile, getting to the bookstore, not finding your book, leaving the book store and walking all the way back to the place you started to go to a different bookstore. Fun.) And then I decided I didn't want to buy it when it was short enough I could read it in the store and not have to pay. So I did. *nods firmly*
And then tonight I decided that I wanted to take my laptop to Cup of Joe's to write fic, which means I went all the way back to the Barnes & Nobles, and sat in the coffee shop next door. And then had to come back when my battery ran out. Today has been a day of much walking.
Now, since I'm rather bored (and I'm beginning to run out of clothes), I'm going to go do laundry. I love the laundry room in the middle of the night- it's always abandoned, and quiet in that white-noise kind of way. No sound other than the steady thump of washers and dryers. It's on the top floor of my building, and through the windows you can see all across campus and clear to the skyscrapers of downtown, everything just floating lights at night. The pretty skyline, and the bare winter trees, and the familiar buildings full of classrooms and labs, and it's always warm and smells like soap. It's the perfect place to write. And since I've been lazy enough to build up many, many loads of laundry, I'll have plenty of time to stay up there.
