Yuletide finished! And uploaded!

I was really unsure if I'd make it this year, but hooray, I managed my time. And now for the meme everyone's doing. Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] ravenbell most recently:

If you had me under your command and could make me write anything-- fanfic or original fic, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be,what would you love to see me write?

Congrats on Yuletide!

I'd love to have you write anything with Hisoka and a Tsuzuki who's covered in blood, blank eyed and silent, surrounded by bodies torn to pieces -- no one knows what happened and there are questions from the highest levels; Hisoka protecting Tsuzuki and doubting him in his very refusal to entertain doubt, in the willful blind irrational quality of his defense. He will answer for whatever Tsuzuki has or has not done, take all comers, because Tsuzuki is his. Hisoka's fingers rough and painfully gentle against Tsuzuki's skin, holding him down; Hisoka biting kisses against his still silent lips, drawing blood...

Thanks!

Wow. Now that is compelling. But are you sure you don't want to write it yourself?

Nah, for I lack your awesome, fierce, going-down-fighting Hisoka, desperate but not fooled, which this sort of story requires. (Sorry! My mind just functions in details.)

Though, honestly, I'd be delighted to have you write anything with Hisoka! I miss your version of him.

In my mad heart of hearts, I've always wanted to see an HP-as-Velvet Goldmine story, with Draco as Brian Slade, Ron as Arthur (of course), and Harry as Curt Wild (perhaps the electroshock gave him the scar?) If you wrote it, then at least I wouldn't :)

Oh. Yes.

I'll have what you're having, please.

Yes! But how do we kidnap Brigdh's brain?

Oooh! That would make a rather fascinating AU. Much better than the endless 'the characters are in a normal highschool' ones, at least.

But hey, that's a request that I'm sure to fill as soon as I have more time!

Aw, well, thank you. And really, thank you for the idea. That may well turn into a story.

That is such a better idea than the endless Sirius/Remus Velvet Goldmine fic.

It's too, too easy to imagine Haynes having Curt/Harry fans drawing lightning bolts on their foreheads with glitter makeup, lipstick, etc.

(Damn it- now I want to write this.)

Damned if I know. But surely there's a way.

We must further think on't. Our cause is a worthy one; it ought not fail for any lack of effort from us, who must be its best friends and warmest furtherers in the world . . .

All right, stopping with the archaic language patterns now, assuming I can. But I repeat: surely there must be a way. We're amusing people, aren't we? Anyone's brain would like to have a little vacation with us!

I'm going to blame your icon, I think, but I caught myself asking, "What would Muraki do?" The answers were surprisingly helpful for all that they involved, among other things, a large glass jar, a drop top convertible and postcards from Cancun.
