esrafil: Once tagged by this entry, write a blog entry of some kind with six random facts about yourself. In the end of it, pick six of your friends and tag them! (No tag backs.) This explanation must be included, of course. Convenient, since I seem to have been friend by several new people recently (hello! Feel free to say hi).
1. I am incapable of retaining a pair of earrings through more than a few uses. I will inevitably lose one of them, often within weeks of having bought them. For this reason, my jewelry box contains lots of earrings so cheap that I don't care if I lose them, and many, many single, mismatched ones.
2. I used to have severe phobias of both dogs and heights, but they've faded away over the years until neither bothers me much anymore.
3. My brother has an annoying friend who came over to our house nearly every day, to sit around and play video games and do stupid teenage boy stuff. A few weeks ago, I got into a fight with him. Despite being a football jock/red neck/known for getting into aggressive fights, he is now apparently afraid to come back over until I move out.
Ha, ha. I win.
4. Silence bothers me. No matter what I'm doing, I'll have music or radio or a TV playing in the background. I don't think it's an afraid-to-be-alone-with-my-own-thoughts sort of thing; I just don't like the way silence, you know, sounds. It's distracting in a way most noise isn't.
5. Probably not unrelated, I need to do things with my hands constantly. When I watch TV, I'll also be doing a crossword or sudoku; when I'm listening to a lecture, I'll be filling the margins of my notes with doodles (you should see some of my notebooks). It helps me pay attention.
6. Instead of using any logical system, I organize the books on my shelves into read/unread, and then in order of how much I like them, and then in order of height. I like the way it looks.
I'll tag six people, but feel free to ignore it (or to do it even if I didn't tag you!)
