Sick, but with a link

I think my brain has liquefied and is trying to melt out through my sinuses!

Or I just have a terrible cold, which given that it's the end of quarter and I have three papers to write this weekend, makes perfect sense. And yet, despite the fact that I must look horrible, I have gotten hit on more times today than in the last two weeks combined. Usually in incredibly strange ways, such as the following:

Me: *sneezing fit*
Random Guy: *walks over* Wow, you're still sick, huh?
Me: ...ah, was I sick before?
Random Guy: Yeah!
Me: ...ah.
Random Guy: Remember? Not sick really, just very bad allergies?
Me: ...
Random Guy: Do you know me?
Me: Nope, don't think so.
Random Guy: ...*walks away*

Which might have been a genuine case of mistaken identity and not flirting, if only he hadn't kept trying to grab me. I live in interesting times, you guys.

...livejournal has just suggested "allegories" for my misspelling of "allergies". I am obviously not thinking straight, because at the moment, that seems hilarious. I'm seeing people break out in hives from reading Everyman.
