Best headline of the day: "Cheney breaks key hunting rule".
Yeah, "do not shoot people in the face" probably is rather important.
But in other news, I have had way too much energy lately. It's like being hyper constantly, except without the distraction of that. My energy applies to reading scientific articles just as well as it does to running around screaming techno lyrics (which is all I've listened to for the last few weeks. New mp3s are always welcome, by the way). Although it's kinda strange be quite so enthusiastic. I feel all, "Yeah, evolutionary archaeaology is the best theory ever, motherfuckaaaaaaas! Let's go, you and me, right now: let's debate artifacts types as essentialist categories or arbitrary materialist definitions! What, bitch!"
Which is fun. But probably not normal.
I've also had a deep desire to find a pair of rollerblades, which is sort of pointless, because it's too cold to skate. And I haven't skated in years, anyway. But I keep thinking about it, and I found a pair tonight at a thrift store for only $5, so obviously I had to buy them.
Things I've learned so far: rollerblading is not like bike-riding. Once upon a time, I used to be good at this, but apparently you can forget how to rollerblade. Hopefully I've managed to get to the point where I don't look entirely ridiculous at least.
Now I just need to use this energy to write my piece for this week's
