brigdhExample 4,988,509,802: I was standing at my computer (which was sitting on my lofted bed), when I heard a hissing sound from the kitchen, and realized that the milk I was boiling to cook with had boiled over onto the burner, so I went running into the kitchen to turn down the heat.
And I managed to run directly into the wall at the end of the kitchen counter, slamming into it hipbone-first. But the really unique part? I did it hard enough to draw blood. Yes, yes, apparently my hipbone really is that sharp.
And now my entire left hip is turning that red color that comes before major bruising.
On the other hand, I'm going to get a free CD any minute now, when the promoters from MTVu come back and collect the survey I filled out for them, so really, it's a good day overall.
