Oh my God. This story is so tragic it breaks my heart. It's one of those fics where you have to stare at the screen in horror as you read it, because it's so bleak, so stark, so awful. And god, the images in here.... Amazing. Simply amazing. Everyone go read right now!

Mwahahahahaha! I totally thought I was going to fall my Japanese test, because I was having trouble keeping the words straight in my head, plus it was the scary strict TA who I don't like giving the test today, but! I passed! I did perfect! 100%! And she said I did very good! *dances wildly all OVER the numbers 1 through 10* Booya!

/end school ramblings.

*ahem* Anyways. I figure I should offer to do that DVD-story meme that's going around, since everyone else on the face of the earth already has. I'm not sure how good I'll be at it, because looking back at my stories, I tend to think either, 'Why on EARTH did I think that was a good idea? Was I HIGH?! HIGH on the CRACK?!' or 'Damn. Where did I come up with that? Was I possessed?!' So. Fair warning: you might not be getting a really coherent commentary.

Pick a story I've written and I'll do a DVD-style commentary on it. Paragraph by paragraph, line by line. Let me know if there's something you'd like me to particularly concentrate on in my commentary. Also feel free to ask anything specific that you'd like to know.

Also, I'm currently debating whether I want to go write, or take a nap. I'd like to go write in the coffee shop, but it's currently snowing and that's kinda dampening my motivation. Plus naps are way fun. But on the other hand, my class tomorrow was canceled, so I can sleep in all day then. Hmmm. This is fascinating choice, I'm sure. Maybe I'll take a shower, and then decide.

An amusing event that happened today but I forgot to include in my last post:
In my film class, the professor discussed buddy comedy/action movies as examples of the romantic comedy genre, specifically in regards to Men In Black and Lethal Weapon. O.o

My professor is a secret slasher! He's a fangirl at heart! He is everso cool! He has a whole speech about it. It included the words, "Now, these elements also hold true in other films. The buddies, or partners, often start out disliking each other, but then they go through a journey and overcome their differences. By the end, they've become much closer, and their relationship has strengthened into something more than either of them expected. It's just like romances!"

And again I say: O.o I very nearly fell off my chair trying not to laugh in class.

So, on another topic, I got hit on by an English guy today at dinner. At some point in this post I'm going to start abusing the O.o emoticon, because really. How do these things happen to me? A hundred people in the commons, I'm sitting there reading a book, headphones on, wearing an old grungy hoody, with my weird purpley-red hair, and I'm the one he picks? No sense there, people. None.
