Mwah, so busy. This is what my schedule tomorrow looks like:

9:30-10:30: Panel
11:00-1:30: Archaeology Lab; trip to local Historical Society
1:30-3:18: Class
4:00: Go to Airport
5:25: Plane leaves for Wisconsin

So, um, yes. I have no time, ever. This provides the perfect segue into talking about my writing plans, because, you see, I have no free time, and yet make crazy elaborate plans. I need more hours in the day.

Anyway. This month, I have two fics I would like to finish. One is a Saiyuki fic for which I'm terribly fond of the idea, and have it all outlined and planned, but cannot seem to write. Argh. It has become physically impossible. I'm terribly afraid that I somehow broke my writing bone when I had to stop for six weeks, and I don't know how to fix it. I have weird fears.

The second is a YnM fic that I actually wrote a year ago, but then pulled off LJ when I realized that, hey, with beta'ing this could be an actual fic and not just some random gush I spilled out in one sitting. It's a horror story, so it fits with Halloween, and hopefully I shall have it out for the holiday.

And finally, I signed up for Nano. I need an actual plot before November, or just someone to convince that it's too much. Is anyone else doing it? I'll feel much better if I'm not the only one making a fool of myself.

Next time I post: conference stories!

Horror story? *curious*

I'm wavering, but I'm probably going to cave and sign up for Nano too. No idea what in the world for, but hey! I'll make a fool of myself too.

We should have a nano outing. ^^ All the cool kids are doing it. ^.~ And you couldn't possibly break your writing bone -- you like it too much. It's like riding a bike; you're just a bit rusty.

Enjoy your conference! ^^

Hopefully you shall see by Halloween. I adore horror, but it's so hard to do well.

Do it, do it! I want more of my friends to do it! I fully encourage all fool-making. *grins*

Just the main page: www.nanowrimo.org (http://www.nanowrimo.org/)

Signing up just consists of registering an account for their forums, so it's not like you couldn't do it without signing up, but this way you get an icon. So it's totally worth it.

Hee! You should.

Oh, oh, yes! That'd be way fun.

Thanks!

I'm probably going to once I get home. Haven't the foggiest what I'll write, but I've signed up the past few years on the same basis.

Have you ever finished? I've signed up once before, but quit a long, long way from 50,000.

I finished once, but when I went back to read it over there were many moments of 'wtf, when did I write this?'

Hee. That sounds like something I'd do.
