A rather... interesting video about George W. Bush is up over here. I don't know if I'm convinced by it, but it's certainly worth the watch. Gacked from ebii.

This is the prettiest picture of Hisoka EVER. He would never actually allow himself to look quite so... debauched, but ignore that and look at the pretty. My inner Tsuzuki is wildly showing this off to anyone who was confused as to why he finds Hisoka so attractive. Link shamelessly ganked from pennypaperbrain, who was rec'ing a Tatsumi/Tsuzuki picture instead. Really, this girl is quite the artist. Check out all of her stuff.

I gave blood today, and the bandaid from the iron test is on the finger that I use to work the mousepad. Also, my arm is kinda sore. Since I am obviously crippled beyond endurance, I'm going to give up on trying to catch up with LJ for right now. Plus, there's the whole issue of unfinished homework.

I don't know whether I'd find that Bush video completely convincing if it stood on its own. But in combination with the Fallows article about Bush's debating style that ran in the Atlantic last month, it's pretty devastating.

Also scary, inasmuch as whether or not you have serious philosophical differences with the guy, you'd like to think that the president of the United States was not operating with major cognitive deficits.

The picture has gone from pretty to kind of disturbing. At least Hisoka doesn't keep pet monkeys or human skeletons though. Hopefully.

The reason I distrusted the video was because it's very easy to edit film to make it look more damning that it is. As far as I know, they took the very best few minutes of his old debate and paired them with the worst moment of last week's debate, which of course makes it look like there's been a much greater change than there really has.

If there's been articles about it, though, that does make me much more suspicious. And if true, I fear to think how much worse he could get in four more years if he's reelected. There's not even a precedent for how to deal with it.

Aw, no.

It's just... Michael Jackson! Out of everyone on the face of the planet, why did it have to look like him? He creeps me out a bit. Okay, a lot. I think it's the nose; I keep expecting it to fall out, or rapid spiders to explode from it. And then he denies he's had any surgery! What's up with that? I mean, if you find pictures of him from when he was a child, he doesn't look bad. He's pretty cute, actually.

And that came out so much more pedaphilic than I intended it.
