brigdhLord Jesus Christ, this is a lot of wank.
I mean, wow. And I'd never heard a word of it before tonight. It's kind of, well, shocking, especially considering I've held fond memories of VB for years. I didn't know any of this- I'd latched onto her as my favorite BNF du jour when I was in LotR briefly a few years ago. I never interacted with her personally... I did send her a huge, pages-long email of feedback once, but I never got a response, so that was it. I followed her LJ, but she never friended me, so I missed out on all the weirdness that was apparantly going on under friendslock.
And it's just like... my god. What a surprise. I thought she was so cool! How did I miss out on all this? How did I never notice? Channeling Merry? And stealing thousands of dollars and faked suicides and new identities and oh my god. I think I'm still techinically a member of the BoE ml, still, though I've had it on no-mail for over a year.
*shakes head* Fandom has some weird people in it.
